Apple-Cranberry Streusel
Basically Pie Wearing a Bread Costume
This loaf started as a responsible sourdough and quickly spiraled into
dessert territory. Juicy honey crisp apples, tart cranberries, and warm
cinnamon get folded into the dough, then we casually sneak in
ridiculous amounts of buttery streusel — most of it inside, some on top,
because moderation felt wrong.
Naturally leavened with our “Tao of Pooh” starter for
balance and depth, so technically it’s still bread…
which means you can absolutely eat it for breakfast without guilt.
We don’t make the rules. Fermentation does.
